This classic "Mizumo" (polka dot) pattern originated after World War II and is an iconic design representing Japan's Showa era. Its enduring appeal earned it the 2010 Good Design Award for Long Life Design. Today, only two kilns in the Yoshida region of Saga Prefecture continue to produce this tea set, making it highly valuable for its heritage and collection.

The rounded and adorable design of the teapot not only exudes a strong sense of Japanese nostalgia but also carries a touch of Scandinavian retro style. Whether for everyday tea enjoyment, personal use, or as a gift for Father's Day, Mother's Day, elders, or a wedding present, it is both elegant and appropriate.
