Launched by the Japanese brand tetote, "tetote" means "hand to hand," representing the beautiful meaning of gently passing the warm objects made by artisans from the creator's hands to the user's hands.

These bowls are crafted using the traditional Mino ware technique of "Shinogi," where artisans meticulously carve smooth, three-dimensional grooves into the surface of the ceramic bowls using a scraper. Combined with a special glaze, the glaze displays rich layers of color and natural light and shadow variations along the depth of the grooves. The moderately wide 12.5cm mouth and the curved design that fits comfortably in the hand make them exceptionally comfortable and warm to hold. Besides being used as rice bowls, they are also perfect for serving side dishes, salads, or soups.

It comes with an exquisite wooden box crafted by a seasoned woodworker in Shirakawa-cho, Gifu Prefecture, and decorated with "Mizuhiki" knotted rope, handmade by a long-established shop in Nagano Prefecture founded in the first year of the Meiji era. Every detail embodies the sincerity and blessings of traditional Japanese craftsmanship, making it the ultimate choice for wedding celebrations, housewarming parties, or as a gift for elders.
